Getting around by MRT
Tampines West is on the Downtown Line between Bedok Reservoir and Tampines. From Rivelle that means one stop to Tampines interchange (East-West Line, Tampines Mall, Century Square, Tampines 1), four stops to Expo (Changi Business Park, Changi City Point) and five stops to Changi Airport via the East-West Line. In the other direction the Downtown Line runs through MacPherson (Circle Line interchange, five stops), Geylang Bahru, Bendemeer and Jalan Besar to Chinatown and Downtown station in the CBD, 14 stops without a change.
Schools within 1 km and 2 km
For primary school balloting, distance from the home address to the school matters. Three primary schools are within 1 km of Rivelle: Junyuan Primary (about 680 m on OneMap), St. Hilda's Primary (about 920 m) and Tampines Primary (about 1.0 km straight-line from the site point, inside 1 km on MOE's boundary measure). Other schools the brochure maps nearby include Poi Ching School, Yu Neng Primary, Gongshang Primary, Angsana Primary, St. Hilda's Secondary, Dunman Secondary, Ngee Ann Secondary, Tampines Primary and Secondary, Temasek Polytechnic, Temasek JC, Tampines Meridian JC, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. What is coming
The brochure highlights the wider plans for the east: the expansion of Tampines Regional Centre with new homes and an integrated transport hub, Changi Airport Terminal 5 and the Changi East Industrial Zone, the Paya Lebar Air Base redevelopment into a new town of 150,000 homes from the 2030s, and the Punggol Digital District. These are long-dated plans drawn from the URA Master Plan and should be read as context for the 2030s, not as reasons to expect short-term price moves. For a region-wide view, singaporeec.sg maintains an overview of executive condominiums in the East.
